Everything about creating and managing your fundraising campaigns

Starting a campaign is easy! Follow these steps:

  2. Create your account or log in
  3. Fill out your campaign details: title, story, funding goal, and category
  4. Add compelling images or videos
  5. Set your campaign duration
  6. Submit for review (typically takes 1-2 hours)

Once approved, your campaign goes live and you can start sharing it!

We support a wide range of legitimate fundraising causes including:

  • Medical: Medical bills, treatments, surgeries
  • Education: Tuition, school supplies, educational programs
  • Emergency: Disaster relief, accident recovery
  • Creative: Art projects, films, music albums
  • Community: Local projects, neighborhood improvements
  • Non-profit: Charitable organization fundraising
  • Personal: Personal emergencies and needs

We do not allow campaigns for illegal activities, hate speech, or personal luxury items without legitimate need.

We recommend campaigns run for 30-45 days. Here's why:

  • 30 days: Creates urgency and keeps momentum
  • 45 days: Gives more time for promotion and outreach
  • 60+ days: May lose momentum unless you have a strong promotion plan

Most successful campaigns reach their goals within the first 2-3 weeks. You can always extend your campaign if needed.

Yes, you can edit most aspects of your campaign after launch:

  • Always editable: Story, images, updates
  • Sometimes editable: Funding goal (with platform approval)
  • Limited edits: Campaign category and end date
  • Not editable: Campaign URL once live

To make changes, go to your dashboard, select your campaign, and click "Edit Campaign." Major changes may require review.

We offer flexible funding options:

  • Keep what you raise: You receive all funds raised, even if you don't reach your goal
  • All-or-nothing: Funds are returned to donors if goal isn't met (selected during setup)

Most campaigns use "keep what you raise" since every bit helps. You can always relaunch your campaign later with adjustments.

Remember: 78% of campaigns that don't reach their goal still raise significant amounts that make a difference.

Yes, you can choose to donate anonymously. When making a donation:

  1. Select your donation amount
  2. Fill in your payment information
  3. Check the box "Donate anonymously" before completing your donation

When you donate anonymously:

  • Your name won't appear on the campaign page
  • The campaign organizer will see "Anonymous Donor"
  • You'll still receive a receipt for tax purposes
  • The campaign organizer cannot see your personal information

You can change this setting for each donation you make.

It depends on the campaign:

  • Verified Non-profits: Donations to registered 501(c)(3) organizations are tax-deductible
  • Personal Campaigns: Generally not tax-deductible
  • Educational Institutions: Often tax-deductible

Look for the "Tax-Deductible" badge on campaign pages. All donors receive receipts that can be used for tax purposes when applicable.

Note: We recommend consulting with a tax professional for specific advice about your situation.

Refund policies vary by situation:

  • Accidental Donations: Contact us within 24 hours for refund consideration
  • Campaign Fraud: Full refund if campaign is proven fraudulent
  • Change of Mind: Generally not refundable after 24 hours
  • Failed Campaigns: Automatic refund if campaign doesn't meet its "all-or-nothing" goal

To request a refund, contact our support team with your donation details and reason for the request.

We review each request individually and typically respond within 3 business days.
