Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy describes the activities that are prohibited when using funana.et's Platform. We created this policy to ensure that FundRaiser remains a safe, trustworthy, and respectful community for everyone.

1. Prohibited Campaigns

The following campaign types are strictly prohibited:

1.1 Illegal Activities

• Drugs, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia
• Illegal weapons, firearms, ammunition, and explosives
• Stolen goods and identity documents
• Human trafficking and exploitation
• Money laundering and terrorist financing

1.2 Fraud and Deception

• Fake campaigns misrepresenting the purpose or use of funds
• Impersonating another person or organization
• Fabricated emergencies or medical conditions
• Multi-level marketing and pyramid schemes
• Advance fee fraud and lottery scams

1.3 Harmful Content

• Hate speech, discrimination, and incitement to violence
• Harassment, bullying, and threats
• Sexually explicit content and pornography
• Graphic violence or gore
• Self-harm or suicide promotion

1.4 Regulated Activities

• Gambling, betting, and casinos
• Political campaigning and candidate fundraising
• Investment opportunities and equity offerings
• Debt collection and loan repayment
• Government assistance program abuse

2. Prohibited User Conduct

2.1 Harassment and Abuse

• Targeted harassment of other users, campaigners, or donors
• Posting private information without consent (doxxing)
• Stalking or intimidation
• Sexual harassment or inappropriate advances

2.2 Platform Abuse

• Creating multiple accounts to evade suspension
• Automated scraping or data mining
• Interfering with platform operations or security
• Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempting to hack or breach platform security

2.3 Spam and Deception

• Unsolicited commercial communications
• Fake engagement (artificial likes, shares, donations)
• Misleading links or phishing attempts
• Fake testimonials or endorsements

3. Intellectual Property

You may not post content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others, including:

• Copyrighted images, videos, or written content without permission
• Trademarked logos or brand names
• Counterfeit goods or unauthorized reproductions
• Content that violates trade secrets or confidentiality

4. Enforcement

When we become aware of potential violations of this policy, we may take any of the following actions:

• Content Removal: Remove specific content that violates our policies
• Campaign Suspension: Pause campaigns pending investigation
• Account Warning: Issue warnings for first-time or minor violations
• Account Suspension: Temporarily restrict access
• Account Termination: Permanently remove account access
• Legal Action: Report violations to law enforcement

5. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it immediately:

We review all reports within 24 hours and take appropriate action. All reports are kept confidential.

6. Appeals Process

If your account or content has been restricted due to an alleged violation, you may appeal by:

1. Contacting legal@funana.et with your account information
2. Explaining why you believe the restriction was incorrect
3. Providing any supporting documentation

We review all appeals within 5 business days and respond with our decision.
